Copyright policy

PeekPublic respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.

PeekPublic surfaces public-data lookup results and may cache limited public metadata. If copyrighted material is available through PeekPublic in a way that you believe infringes your rights, send a written notice using the contact information on this page.

Send notices here

Email copyright notices to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request".

Do not send unrelated support, profile suppression, or privacy requests to the DMCA inbox unless they are part of a copyright claim.

What a DMCA notice should include

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, such as the PeekPublic URL, public Snapchat username, public profile link, screenshots, and timestamps when relevant.
  • Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices

If material was removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice and you believe the notice was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to the DMCA inbox.

  • Identify the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal.
  • State under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
  • Provide your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • State that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district, or if outside the United States, any judicial district where the service operator may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.
  • Include your physical or electronic signature.

Important notes

  • Incomplete notices may be delayed or may not be actionable.
  • Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may create legal liability.
  • PeekPublic has not listed a separate registered DMCA agent on this page. This page provides the practical copyright contact path for the site.
  • For non-copyright public profile suppression, cached metadata, privacy, or affected-person requests, use the Remove Content page instead.
